Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Information you send us through the quote form. When you request a quote, we ask for your name, phone number, the area you're in, your ZIP code, the service you're interested in, an optional description of the work, and optional photos of the tree or property. You choose what to include; name, phone, area, and ZIP are required so we can reach you and confirm you're in our service area.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to run the site securely. We use your IP address briefly to limit repeated form submissions from the same source.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how people find and use the site: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, what device and browser they use, and which page or search brought them here. Google Analytics uses cookies and may assign your browser an identifier; Vercel and Cloudflare analytics are cookieless and record aggregate, anonymized visits. We look at this data in aggregate to improve the site; we don't use it to identify you by name.

Advertising. We don't currently run advertising or remarketing trackers on the site. If we start (for example, Google Ads conversion tracking), we'll list the provider here, note that it uses cookies to measure ads and may show you our ads on other sites, and update the date at the top. You'll be able to opt out through your browser settings or the provider's ad-settings page.

Cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies to recognize repeat visits. Our staff also use a sign-in cookie for the site's content editor. We don't set any other cookies. See "Your choices" below for how to opt out.

2. How we use it

• To contact you about your quote request and schedule the work you asked about.
• To keep the site running and prevent abuse (spam, bots, repeated submissions).

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing lists, newsletters, or advertising.

3. Where your information goes

Your quote request is delivered to us by email. It is not stored in a website database. The services that handle it along the way are:

• Resend delivers your quote request (including any photos) to our email.
• Vercel hosts the website, processes the form submission, and provides Vercel Analytics.
• Cloudflare runs Turnstile, an invisible bot check when you submit the form, and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare may process your IP address and browser information to tell humans from bots and to count visits.
• Anthropic reviews the optional message in a quote request to identify spam. The review is automated and is used only to prevent abuse.
• Google provides Google Analytics. Google may use the data it collects according to its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
• OpenStreetMap supplies the map images on our service-area pages. Loading the map sends your IP address to OpenStreetMap's servers, as with any embedded map.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy. We don't share your information with anyone else except as needed to provide the service you asked for or as required by law.

4. How long we keep it

Quote requests live in our email and are kept as long as we need them to serve you and keep business records. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period and then discarded. Analytics data is retained per each provider's default settings (Google Analytics: 14 months unless we change it).

5. Your choices

• You can call us instead of using the form; nothing on the site requires you to submit information.
• You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The site works the same either way.
• You can ask us to delete your quote request and any photos you sent by contacting Gabe@greenbriertreeexperts.com or (615) 853-2808. We'll honor the request unless we need the record for a job in progress or for legal reasons.

6. Children

This site is for property owners and managers. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Substantial changes will be noted on this page.
