Why Tree Removal Is Sometimes Necessary

  • Safety Concerns

This is always our #1 Priority - Dead, dying, or structurally compromised trees can pose significant risks to your property and personal safety. Removing these trees helps prevent potential accidents and damage.

  • Disease & Infestation

Trees that are severely affected by disease or pest infestations, such as Ash trees and the Emerald Ash Borer, may need to be removed to protect the rest of your landscape. Some shade-trees may succumb to Fungal or Bacterial infection and removal is the best option.

  • Property Development

Expanding your home, building new structures, or redesigning your landscape often requires the removal of trees to make space for your project.

  • Aesthetic or Practical Reasons

Sometimes, trees may outgrow their space, block views, or create unwanted shade. Removing these trees can improve the aesthetics and functionality of your property.

Common Questions

How do I know if my tree needs to be removed?

What does a removal cost?

A single removal usually estimates between $250 and $1,500, and more for the big ones. That's the price of the removal itself. There's also a minimum to get a crew out, $650 for new customers and $500 with a referral, with no minimum once you're an existing customer. The pricing page lays out the labor and day rates behind those numbers.

What happens to the wood?

The wood can be processed and removed from your property, or if you prefer, we can leave it for you to use as firewood or mulch. We also offer stump grinding and complete debris removal.

Do I need a permit?

Can you remove trees in hard-to-reach spots?
